Thendil is a HelloMiners player and former staff member who joined in 2020. He is known predominantly for being the founder and Chairman of the HelloMiners Soviet Union, a collection of cities that engage in communist roleplay. He founded the city of Valleyside in 2021 and is also Mayor of an independent city called Snowdonia. He runs a successful retail business, Blockazon, which has branches and franchises across multiple government and player cities.

Thendil served as a moderator from February to July 2023 and was then invited to become a developer for the server in August 2023. Thendil left the staff team in early 2024.
