The Northeast Transportation Department (NTD) The Northeast Transportation Department is a private infrastructure department mainly serving the northeastern Part of the pre-expansion HelloMiners map. The department's goal is to create highways and high-speed railways to connect the cities of the northeast as well as cooperate with neighboring organizations and departments and connect with them.

History

The NTD was officially established by PrinceAdam on June 30^th, 2021 with the incorporation of the Avara-Cytra highway and Avara Train Station into the NTD and the establishment of plans to build highways and railways to neighboring cities Flowing Meadows and Cape Coral.

Railway Network

Currently, the NTD's high-speed railway network serves the cities of Avara, Sunset Coast, Snowdonia, Flowing Meadows, Cape Coral, Crystal Bay, and Europa.

Of the cities listed, Flowing Meadows is the only one to not have a train station, so the railway line ends at the border of the city.

Highway Network

The Highway Network of the NTD serves the cities of Avara, Sunset Coast, Snowdonia, Flowing Meadows, Cape Coral, and Europa. The standard NTD design for highways, from right to left, is polished andesite, 3 gray concrete, 1 white concrete, 3 gray concrete, then polished andesite.

Train Stations

The Northeast Transportation Department currently owns 2 train stations in the northeast: the Crystal Bay Train Station and the Avara Train Station. All other train stations served by the NTD are the property of their cities.

Membership

Membership can be gained by owning a city or land in the northeastern part of the map (Both east and north of the origin 0,0) that is connected directly to the NTD highway or railway system. Membership must also be approved by a vote from the OG Members.

OG Membership is held by PrinceAdam, Gurbanguly, WhosVita, and MentalGamer who were the first to join, connect, and assist the NTD when it was founded.
