Horizon Awards 9 is the ninth consecutive Horizon Awards event, taking place during Autumn 2023. It is due to be hosted by Edgewurth.
History
Announcement and Planning
Horizon Awards 9 was announced late-October to originally be hosted by Edgewurth, with a projected runtime of September 2023 to October 2023. Unlike previous events, which were normally announced either just before the ceremony of the previous event, or after the previous event, Horizon Awards 9 would be announced alongside Horizon Awards VIII.
It would be revealed during Late-November 2022 that the location would be Aruba, a work-in-progress city at the time. While this originally would have been Cardiff, he decided to hold it off for a big celebration.
Changes
In December 2022, it was announced that the dating would change to be November 2023, with a chance of it becoming an annual event.
