Traquai, formerly Trakai, is a city located in the Southeast of Hellominers, and the second largest city in the Republic of Bayview. A Tier 1 city following a largely European style, it is a member of the Southern Union for Development and the Southern Union. Traquai’s official language is French, making it one of the only cities on Hellominers to not use English as an official language.
History
This city was created in 2018. It first featured modern-style buildings near its nether portal, with a high-rise city hall building. There were plans for an airport to be built at Trakai under DominationLT's control, however this has not been completed. Trakai was transferred to PoipleBear as DominationLT had become inactive on HelloMiners. Trakai does not currently have a stadium, however has used its Ironball field for Ironball tournaments and games. Trakai and Bayview are both part of "Blue Bay", a partnership of both cities to work together to achieve common goals.
Geography
Trakai has 3 distinct yet unofficial zones, with one being its skyscraper/modern look from the beginnings of Trakai, with a suburb zone south of it, and a new European-based zone to the southwest of both zones, featuring the Trakai train station as well as further developments that have arisen since the handoff to PoipleBear and later also Albinary.
Travel Hubs
Trakai is connected to the Central "SUD" railway line, alongside the Great Eastern Railway. It is also connected to Montego Bay through the SR3 highway. Transport links within the city are only existant within the European-based zone, where there is a tram that links several parts of the zone. The tram system matches the Bayview tram system, as they were both built by Albinary. Within this zone, there is no automotive infrastructure.
Design
Trakai's southwestern European-based zone is planned to have no plots, and buildings specifically for roleplay or governmental use. The northeastern zone with reminents of the old Trakai is largely inactive currently, however there is intent to work on this zone from Albinary.
