The Greenfort Ruin Defence was a discontinued work in progress event located in Greenfort City that was under development by ArcticWinter.

Overview

This event was an arena styled one that involved three different difficulty levels:

  • Easy: A normal mob spawn rate
  • Normal: An increased mob spawn rate
  • Hard: A fast mob spawn rate

The participants would choose a difficulty, and then enter a small arena with stone ruins in the center where they would fight 12 waves of mobs. It was intended that redstone digital counters on each side of the arena would count down from 12 to 0 on every wave to indicate the number of mobs remaining. However, the number of mobs that spawn was not 12, and was never successfully capped to 12 before the event was scrapped.

Testers

  • ArcticWinter
  • Ravenmoon01
  • __Hyper

Trivia

  • Blocked commands: /sethome, /home, /warp, /lock, /cprivate
  • Due to mob stacking being present during this events testing, players that helped test it were able to get stacked bows.
  • A warning on the outside of the now unusable door states: "NO PRIZE FOR WINNING. USE AT OWN RISK.", solidifying the fact that the event was a work in progress.
