The Purge Act 2024 (H.R.1) is an act of Congress that provides an exemption for the prosecution of players for any violent or disorderly act that occurs in the wild on the 21st day of the month. This is also extended to all cities from 7pm on March 21st until 7am on March 22nd. The idea comes from The Purge movies, a series of dystopian action horror films.
It is also significant as being the first roleplay legislation passed by Congress.

A BILL
H.R.1 - To Establish the Purge
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the HelloMiners Congress assembled,
Section 1. Short Title
This Act may be cited as the "Purge Act".
Section 2. Definitions
(a) This bill establishes the purge as the 21st day of the month.
Section 3. Scope of the Purge
(a) No player may be prosecuted for any violent or disorderly act in the wild that is committed during the purge.
(b) The purge applies additionally to all cities from 7pm UTC on March 21st until 7am UTC on March 22nd.
(c) The President and Vice President are immune from the Purge.
