The October 2021 Downtime Incident is an incident technically started earlier in the year, but became unnoticed to be as a result of a memory leak during Essentials being a pain. It was announced on the 2nd October 2021 that the server is down as a result of memory issues - and later on clarified it does not mean a reset or shutdown. Whitelist was later turned on, and ayalaandtal was put in charge.

Then on the 4th October 2021, Facebook and it's services - including it's DNS Servers - went down. This took HelloMiner's DNS servers with it, and prolonged the repairs until Facebook was up, and the staff could reconfigure the DNS again.

The next day, it was announced the server was having some final fixes, and would likely reopen soon - however was delayed due to more memory leaks coming from Essentials - who was contacted on the eighth and recieved a lead. The ninth roled around, and a final fix was performed - and the server resumed full action on the 10th October 2021.
