Server Economy

The server economy, or Forsals, is a part of HelloMiners. There are multiple ways to earn income, including through Chestshops and Real Estate.

Your Balance

All new players start with F5,000 to spend on their first home, and on some basics like food and tools. You can spend or gain money for your balance in various methods, such as purchase of Property, the buying/selling of items, or through performing jobs for both players and the Government.

You can check your balance with /bal, check other player's balances with /bal [player], or pay another player with /pay [player] [price].

Chestshops

Chestshops are one of the ways you can sell or buy items on HelloMiners. They often look are signs placed on either a chest or barrel. Below is a example of what the sign may look like.

To buy from a chestshop, you need to right-click the sign. To sell, left-click. Not all chestshops will allow you to buy or sell from them.

To create a chestshop, place a container block (Chests or Barrel) down, place the item you want to sell in the chestshop in the container, and then create a sign with the following layout.

On the third line, you have three options for what you can put, which are:

You can place your chestshop sign anywhere, so long as it's touching the target chest. You are also able to place multiple signs on your chest to setup multiple shops.

Auction House

The Government Auction House is a global market where players can bid on, or sell their goods to other players. To get started type /ah in chat to open up the global market. You can then click on items, or hover over them to see the price they are selling for, and how long the item has left before it expires.

To start selling items, you simply have to hold the items in your hand which you wish to sell, and then type: /market sell [price]. This will then post the item on the global market for players to purchase. Items expire after a certain amount of time. Expired items, or items that didn't sell, can be collected in your mailbox. The mailbox can be accessed by clicking on the chest icon in the market. Make sure to left click the items to add them back into your inventory.

You also have the option of bidding on Government Auctions if any are running by clicking on the item and placing your bid. You can also start your own auctions by using the /market bid [price] while holding an item in your hand.
