Republic of Bayview

The Republic of Bayview (sometimes simply The Republic) is a nation located primarily in the Southeast of the HelloMiners map. Bayview is the nation’s capital and largest city, while Traquai is the oldest and second-largest city.

The Republic’s main urban area surrounds Blue Bay, an ocean whose name was previously used to refer to collaborations between Bayview and Traquai, the only two cites that border the ocean. It is known for its emphasis on roleplay, with a developed system of government and a frequent role in server-wide politics.

History

Trakai was founded by DominationLT in 2018, on what was then the server border on the western bank of Blue Bay. Following his inactivity, the city was transferred to PoipleBear in 2020, and in turn Albinary in 2022, who renamed the city Traquai.

Bayview was founded in 2019 by CakeDevil_275 on the eastern bank of Blue Bay. After rapid expansion, it was connected to Traquai by rail and road, effectively administering the city during PoipleBear’s inactivity. Under Albinary’s leadership, the two began collaborating heavily on infrastructure, roleplay and sport.

The two cities remained entirely separate entities until Traquai was incorporated in to the nation formed by Bayview’s ascension to Tier 6 in 2024. Due to its distinct history, Traquai still retains more autonomy than other cities in the Republic.

The nation’s third city, Corvelo, began construction in January 2026. It marks the first instance that the nation’s territory extended north of the equator.
