The Government Auction House is a global market where players can bid on, or sell their goods to other players. The Auction House often referred to as AH, is really simple and easy to use. To get started type /ah in chat, this will open up the global market. You can then click on items, or hover over them to see the price they are selling for, and how long the item has left before it expires.
To start selling items, you simply have to hold the items in your hand which you wish to sell, and then type: /market sell [price] This will post the item on the global market for players to purchase. Items expire after a certain amount oft time. Expired items, or items that didn't sell, can be collected in your mailbox. The mailbox can be accessed by clicking on the chest icon in the market. Make sure to left click the items to add them back into your inventory.
Premium players can sell more items than non-premium players at any given time.
You also have the option of bidding on Government Auctions if any are running by clicking on the item and placing your bid. You can also start your own auctions by using the /market bid [price] while holding an item in your hand.
