About HelloMiners

HelloMiners is the oldest city and economy roleplay server in Minecraft, established in 2011 by Tedde. Over the years, it has evolved significantly, offering players a dynamic and immersive experience. The server was founded with the vision of creating a vibrant community where players could build cities, run businesses, and engage in roleplay. It has grown steadily, attracting a diverse player base. Here is just a snapshot of all we have to offer on our server!

Diverse Cities and Government

HelloMiners features nearly 100 cities (and growing!), both government-owned and privately-owned, each with unique characteristics and governance structures. This diversity allows for a wide range of roleplaying opportunities, making every city a new adventure!

Impressive Infrastructure and Innovations

The server boasts impressive infrastructure, including roads, railways, and airports, connecting different cities and regions. Innovations like vehicles (planes, cars, helicopters, and more!) and other custom features enhance the gameplay, providing a rich and varied experience.

Player-Driven Economy

Players can start their own companies, trade goods, and participate in the server’s economy. This has led to the development of a complex and thriving economic system, where entrepreneurship and trade are key elements.

Community

The community is active and involved in various departments within the server government. Players can participate in government city elections, propose new laws and guidelines, and contribute to the server’s development. This involvement ensures that the server evolves with its community.

Seasonal Events and Quests

We host various seasonal events and quests that keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. These events often tie into the server’s lore and history, adding depth and excitement to the experience.

Getting Settled In

When you join the server, it is recommended that you make your way through the tutorial. Do not worry if you miss anything - we will cover all of the topics in greater detail here within the wiki! If a player helper or member of staff is online, feel free to reach out to them for a quick tour, or help finding your first home! If you are looking for a job, ask in chat or the discord or on the forums. It is also crucial that you review the server rules. This will ensure you do not break any of these rules, and that you know how to protect yourself if you are ever in a situation where you need to report another player.

HelloMiners Information: Discord & Forums

The HelloMiners Forums and government discord are the two primary sources of information and communication outside of the HelloMiners server. Announcements for events, development updates and outages, rule changes, and more are found here! On the forums you can create topics, bid on auctions, bid on government contracts, buy real estate, and more! The discord houses all government department channels. On the discord you can create tickets for any government department, or for the general server staff. It is highly recommended that all players create a forum account and join the discord!

HelloMiners Staff Team

The HelloMiners staff team consists of trusted members of the community who's jobs are to support your HelloMiners experience. The upper management consists of Admins and Technicians who manage the server and lead the Moderators, Trial-Moderators and Developers in various projects. The staff team manages reports, portions of the government, disputes, player support and more.

Finding Your First Home

There are a number of options available around the map to start your journey in your first home. Housing is offered in government and private cities by government and private entities. If you need assistance finding a house, reach out to a player helper or member of staff if they are online, or ask in chat! If no players are available to assist you, the below sections can support you in finding your first home!

Housing in the world of HelloClan comes in many shapes and sizes. From rentable apartments to purchasable houses and mansions to open plots and wild land, the options are endless! Many new players start off with an apartment or house rental, which typically lasts for 30 days but can be extended. It is typically the cheapest and easiest way to get started immediately.

Apartments are found in every city, and are typically within the large skyscrapers and buildings within the cities. Some apartments come furnished, and others are empty. Be sure to read any rules posted in the lobby of the building that you will be required to adhere to during your stay. If there are no players available to help you, you can look through a government or private city to find your first home, or use the command /findhome.

HelloClan City Suburbs

The government has a district of HelloClan City called the Suburbs, a small area of rentable houses and apartments for new players. To access the suburbs, travel to /warp airport and make your way over to the two taxis. The first taxi has a button that when pressed will teleport you to Suburbs Square. The suburbs can also be accessed via the HelloClan Subway System.

Government and Private City Apartments

There are 6 government cities within HelloClan. Government cities are run by the HelloMiners Staff, with some government cities having elected mayors. Government cities can be accessed via warps, and can be navigated using the subway system and the taxis located throughout the cities. The government cities include:

There are over 90 private cities located across HelloClan! Private cities are owned and operated by players from the community! Private cities are organized into tiers based on size, quality, number of public spaces/buildings and more. Private cities can be accessed in a few different ways. You can access the nether hub which cities have access points for by using the command /warp NetherHub. Some private cities have airports, and can be accessed via the Government and Private Airports. Private cities contain different districts with houses, shops, apartments, and more! We encourage you to explore them and see what they have to offer!

Navigating the Server

There are a number of methods to navigate our server! The fastest way to access different cities is by going to the airport using /warp a. Subways within some cities will help you navigate the cities, and cars can be used to travel the city streets! There are even highways spanning across the server which connect cities together! Check out the below articles for more information!

Plugins to Explore

It is our goal to maintain a close-to-vanilla feel for our players. We do not use any mods, instead our server uses several plugins to create a better playing experience for our community! We have a Vehicles plugin and use a mixture of Citizens, denizen scripting, warps and Chestshops to improve your travel experience. For automation, resource gathering, and more we have added the SlimeFun plugin with additional add-ons like exotic garden. We even have the brewery plugin for custom drinks! Additional plugin information can be found in the beginner's guide below.
