Chad
Chad is an NPC that frequents Marc's Diner in Crystal Bay. His usual dish is Cooked Beef and regularly orders that as part of the event hub cooking quests.
Halloween 2022 Event
In October 2022 it was revealed as part of the Halloween event that Chad had a connection with Async Laboratories, possibly an employee. He has been seen patrolling The Backrooms as a hostile mob.
Some theories suggest he may be hired help, working with Async workers to protect laboratory assets on behalf of the Warden. Any players seeking rare Async items were often confronted by Chad.
Inspiration
The inspiration behind Chad is from the GigaChad meme based on the real-life Russian model Ernest Khalimov.
