The city was approved in March 2026. [[Corvelo Valley]], the server's largest ski resort, opened that autumn.

Corvelo's central citadel is based on a natural port, located near to [[Yakaze]] and [[Cape Coral]], with the district following a French architectural theme. Corvelo Valley lies upon a naturally mountainous region to the citadel's west, populated by Alpine chalets. Developed as a luxury holiday destination, the vast majority of the property in the city consists of secondary homes of wealthy players.

This city was created in 2018. It first featured modern-style buildings near its nether portal, with a high-rise city hall building. There were plans for an airport to be built at Trakai under [[DominationLT]]'s control, however this has not been completed. Trakai was transferred to [[PoipleBear]] as [[DominationLT]] had become inactive on HelloMiners, and subsequently to Albinary, who changed the city's name to Traquai. Traquai does not currently have a stadium, however has used its [[Ironball]] field for [[Ironball]] tournaments and games. Traquai and [[Bayview]] are both part of "[[Blue Bay]]", a partnership of both cities to work together to achieve common goals. The city was absorbed in to the Republic of Bayview in 2024.

Traquai has 3 distinct yet unofficial zones, with one being its skyscraper/modern look from the beginnings of Trakai, with a suburb zone south of it, and a new European-based zone to the southwest of both zones, featuring the Traquai train station as well as further developments that have arisen since the handoff to [[PoipleBear]] and later also [[Albinary]].

===Travel Hubs===

Traquai is connected to the Central "SUD" railway line, alongside the [[Great Eastern Railway]]. It is also connected to [[Montego Bay]] through the SR3 highway. Transport links within the city are only existant within the European-based zone, where there is a tram that links several parts of the zone. The tram system matches the [[Bayview]] tram system, as they were both built by [[Albinary]]. Within this zone, there is no automotive infrastructure.

Traquai's southwestern European-based zone is planned to have no plots, and buildings specifically for roleplay or governmental use. The northeastern zone with reminents of the old Trakai is largely inactive currently, however there is intent to work on this zone from [[Albinary]].

Trakai was founded by DominationLT in 2018, on what was then the server border on the western bank of Blue Bay. Following his inactivity, the city was transferred to PoipleBear in 2020, and in turn Albinary in 2022, who renamed the city Traquai.

Bayview was founded in 2019 by CakeDevil_275 on the eastern bank of Blue Bay. After rapid expansion, it was connected to Traquai by rail and road, effectively administering the city during PoipleBear’s inactivity. Under Albinary’s leadership, the two began collaborating heavily on infrastructure, roleplay and sport.

The two cities remained entirely separate entities until Traquai was incorporated in to the nation formed by Bayview’s ascension to Tier 6 in 2024. Due to its distinct history, Traquai still retains more autonomy than other cities in the Republic.

The HelloMiners '''Southern Union for Development (SUD)''' is an infrastructure and event organisation focused on developing the Southern Hemisphere of the HelloMiners map and community's.

== History ==
It was founded on the 3rd of July, 2021, and as of the 5th of September is the most active non-government organised group of the server, with estimations by certain members indicating 80% of the active community participating in it. S.U.D. has two major and one minor division, the Rail and Roads divisions, and the Events division. The Rail division has constructed 4 major projects; The G.E.R. and the Central, Dubai, Swamp and Lunafern Lines. The roads division has built SR1, 2, and 3 major highways.

On the same day, it's Discord server was created. Precursors to the group include the NTN, a.k.a. the National Train Network, that constructed the majority of the Central Line. The S.U.D. was formed initially to organise infrastructure in the area, but within the first few hours of it's formation S.U.D. also became event-focused. The tenth member to join was [[bunnywoof]], who joined on the 4th of July, 2021.

=== Branding ===
On the 13th of July, the S.U.D. seal (often errorneously refferred to as the S.U.D. logo) was created by Beak, and later adopted by the group. It consists of a blue circle with a red outline containing the text "Southern Union for Development" around it. Inside the blue circle are two white rings positioned above the centre and cropped out, representing the chunk glitch rings on the server map. A curved red line, representing travel, goes across the seal.

Before the SUD seal was adopted, another logo was in use for the discord icon that consisted of gold coloured 3D buildings on a gray background with "Southern Union for Development" below in the same colour.

=== Infrastructure ===
The first major infrastructure project completed by the Southern Union of Development was SR1, which route went largely straight from Bunnywoof to Florae, with exits at Silver Lake, Freeport, and Valnir. The announcement of the SR3 project followed, however the announcement and completion of SR2 - which connected SR1 and 3 with an exit on the outskirts of Ashford - was finalised before the eventual completion of SR3. By this time, the Central Line built by the NTN had been assumed by the S.U.D.

S.U.D. believed that for future development and further connection, a unified headquarters for the members of S.U.D. needed to be constructed. With the help of another member, Felipe, owner of Montego Bay, and Somfic, another member, they chose to construct and design a HQ in the downtown district of Montego Bay. Within 3 hours the design had been complete and building commenced. It was completed in late August of 2021 and offices began designation.

After this, the planning process for SR4 began. SR4 was seen by one of its initial planners, beak_boy, as a necessary infrastructure project if the Southern Union of Development's continuous work was continued. This project is to connect the cities of Montego Bay, the Northern Hub of S.U.D. transport, with Valley City, a satellite government city and former warp of HelloClan City.

The S.U.D. has no formal structure or hierarchy, which was the intent of the founders, who, were self described 'good communists'. There is no formalised, or official leadership over the '''Southern Union for Development'''.

No membership criteria were made, although this was heavily debated. The vast majority of member states are cities, however the exceptions exist, including regions of Bunnywoof. Bunnywoof plays an important role as a transport hub of the group. Whilst it is a goal of S.U.D. to be focused on infrastructure in the Southern Hemisphere, and it's membership reflects that, certain members and planned highways extend beyond the equator.

Trakai was founded by DominationLT in 2018, on what was then the server border on the western bank of Blue Bay. Following his inactivity, the city was transferred to PoipleBear in 2020, and in turn Albinary in 2022, who renamed the city Traquai.

Bayview was founded in 2019 by CakeDevil_275 on the eastern bank of Blue Bay. The HelloMiners '''Southern Union for Development (SUD)''' is an infrastructure and event organisation focused on developing the Southern Hemisphere of the HelloMiners map and community's.

== History ==
It was founded on the 3rd of July, 2021, and as of the 5th of September is the most active non-government organised group of the server, with estimations by certain members indicating 80% of the active community participating in it. S.U.D. has two major and one minor division, the Rail and Roads divisions, and the Events division. The Rail division has constructed 4 major projects; The G.E.R. and the Central, Dubai, Swamp and Lunafern Lines. The roads division has built SR1, 2, and 3 major highways.

On the same day, it's Discord server was created. Precursors to the group include the NTN, a.k.a. the National Train Network, that constructed the majority of the Central Line. The S.U.D. was formed initially to organise infrastructure in the area, but within the first few hours of it's formation S.U.D. also became event-focused. The tenth member to join was [[bunnywoof]], who joined on the 4th of July, 2021.

=== Branding ===
On the 13th of July, the S.U.D. seal (often errorneously refferred to as the S.U.D. logo) was created by Beak, and later adopted by the group. It consists of a blue circle with a red outline containing the text "Southern Union for Development" around it. Inside the blue circle are two white rings positioned above the centre and cropped out, representing the chunk glitch rings on the server map. A curved red line, representing travel, goes across the seal.

Before the SUD seal was adopted, another logo was in use for the discord icon that consisted of gold coloured 3D buildings on a gray background with "Southern Union for Development" below in the same colour.

=== Infrastructure ===
The first major infrastructure project completed by the Southern Union of Development was SR1, which route went largely straight from Bunnywoof to Florae, with exits at Silver Lake, Freeport, and Valnir. The announcement of the SR3 project followed, however the announcement and completion of SR2 - which connected SR1 and 3 with an exit on the outskirts of Ashford - was finalised before the eventual completion of SR3. By this time, the Central Line built by the NTN had been assumed by the S.U.D.

S.U.D. believed that for future development and further connection, a unified headquarters for the members of S.U.D. needed to be constructed. With the help of another member, Felipe, owner of Montego Bay, and Somfic, another member, they chose to construct and design a HQ in the downtown district of Montego Bay. Within 3 hours the design had been complete and building commenced. It was completed in late August of 2021 and offices began designation.

After this, the planning process for SR4 began. SR4 was seen by one of its initial planners, beak_boy, as a necessary infrastructure project if the Southern Union of Development's continuous work was continued. This project is to connect the cities of Montego Bay, the Northern Hub of S.U.D. transport, with Valley City, a satellite government city and former warp of HelloClan City.

== Membership and Leadership ==
The S.U.D. has no formal structure or hierarchy, which was the intent of the founders, who, were self described 'good communists'. There is no formalised, or official leadership over the '''Southern Union for Development'''.

No membership criteria were made, although this was heavily debated. The vast majority of member states are cities, however the exceptions exist, including regions of Bunnywoof. Bunnywoof plays an important role as a transport hub of the group. Whilst it is a goal of S.U.D. to be focused on infrastructure in the Southern Hemisphere, and it's membership reflects that, certain members and planned highways extend beyond the equator.

A railway connection between Bayview and neighbouring Cape Coral was first proposed by the SUD in 2021 to accompany the construction of the [[SR6 highway]] connecting the cities' road systems. Construction of the railway connection finished April 2022, concurrently with the highway, and both continue to be owned and managed by the SUD. Proposals for the SUD extending the railway to Crystal Bay date back to May 2022, but the connection was only built once [[PrinceAdam]] of the NTD acquired land for a Crystal Bay train station from [[Daisypark777]] in early 2023. The NTD constructed the railway between Crystal Bay and Cape Coral in 2023, completing the route. The SUD portion of the line underwent significant realignment during the construction of the Cape Coral Circuit in 2023. The NTD extended its portion of Baylink from Crystal Bay to Europa in December 2025.

== Route ==
The line begins on Platforms 7 and 8 underneath Palm Junction Station in central Bayview, which is also served by the [[Great Eastern Railway]], [[South Line]] and local subway, bus and tram services. The railway surfaces and merges to form one track as it leaves Bayview, and follows the route of the SR6 Highway (also informally called Baylink) until reaching Platform 2 of Cape Coral train station, which is also served by a railway line to [[Yakaze]]. The subsequent portion of the line leaves from Platform 1 of Cape Coral station, and travels overground, stopping at Cape Coral North station. After travelling through the countryside north of Cape Coral, the line has a stop at Crystal Bay railway station, north of Crystal Bay. Then, the line continues on to the Europa train station.

This city was created in 2018. It first featured modern-style buildings near its nether portal, with a high-rise city hall building. There were plans for an airport to be built at Trakai under [[DominationLT]]'s control, however this has not been completed. Trakai was transferred to [[PoipleBear]] as [[DominationLT]] had become inactive on HelloMiners. Trakai does not currently have a stadium, however has used its [[Ironball]] field for [[Ironball]] tournaments and games. Trakai and [[Bayview]] are both part of "Blue Bay", a partnership of both cities to work together to achieve common goals.

Trakai has 3 distinct yet unofficial zones, with one being its skyscraper/modern look from the beginnings of Trakai, with a suburb zone south of it, and a new European-based zone to the southwest of both zones, featuring the Trakai train station as well as further developments that have arisen since the handoff to [[PoipleBear]] and later also [[Albinary]].

===Travel Hubs===

Trakai is connected to the Central "SUD" railway line, alongside the Great Eastern Railway. It is also connected to [[Montego Bay]] through the SR3 highway. Transport links within the city are only existant within the European-based zone, where there is a tram that links several parts of the zone. The tram system matches the [[Bayview]] tram system, as they were both built by [[Albinary]]. Within this zone, there is no automotive infrastructure.

Trakai's southwestern European-based zone is planned to have no plots, and buildings specifically for roleplay or governmental use. The northeastern zone with reminents of the old Trakai is largely inactive currently, however there is intent to work on this zone from [[Albinary]].

The city was founded in 2019 by CakeDevil_275, and has since been known for its immense network of transport infrastructure and its role in serverwide politics, particularly in matters concerning [[Valleyside|the HMSU]].

A Tier 3 city, Bayview is located on Blue Bay opposite [[Trakai|Traquai]]. There are multiple bridges connecting the two, who collaborate on various projects (such as their shared Ironball team). Bayview also works closely with neighbouring Archendale, Alexandria, Cape Coral and Valnir as well as Dubai and Montego Bay.

The city puts a significant focus on in-game roleplay, with its own legal system, government and remains the only city to democratically elect its leader. CakeDevil_275 is the current President of Bayview, having been re-elected in December 2023.

Bayview International Airport is one of the largest on the server, sitting on 40,000 blocks of land.
